Winsor & Newton Distilled Turpentine

Winsor & Newton Distilled Turpentine is derived from pine trees and is the most traditional oil painting solvent. It can be used to clean brushes and to create your own painting mediums.

It is an efficient solvent, removing even dried oil, alkyd, and acrylic paints from brushes and painting tools. It can also remove varnishes, including Winsor & Newton Dammar Varnish, in preparation for re-varnishing.
