Winsor & Newton Artists' Retouching Varnish

Winsor & Newton Artists' Retouching Varnish is used prior to Winsor & Newton Artists’ Gloss Varnish or Winsor & Newton Dammar Varnish. This UV-resistant gloss varnish gives temporary protection to recently completed oil paintings. It is quick drying, can be overpainted, balances out surface sheen, and allows the paint film to cure through the varnish.

Please note: This varnish is not intended for use as a paint additive or in thick applications. Painting must be touch dry before being applied.
