Winsor & Newton Dammar Varnish

Winsor & Newton Dammar Varnish is a professional grade, high gloss finishing treatment for use on oil and alkyd paintings to preserve the artwork longer. It seals the microscopic pores on the oil paint film to provide resistance to dirt and grease, as well as create a uniform high gloss sheen.

Winsor & Newton Dammar Varnish can be removed with Winsor & Newton Distilled Turpentine for the purpose of re-varnishing. 

Please note: This varnish is not intended for use as a paint additive. Painting must be completely dry (6-12 months) before being applied.
