Winsor & Newton Gum Arabic Watercolor Medium

Winsor & Newton Gum Arabic Watercolor Medium is to watercolors what linseed oil is to oil paints. Most watercolors use gum arabic as part of the binder for the color. Adding Winsor & Newton Gum Arabic to tubed watercolor will help control the flow of wet color, slow the drying process, and increase gloss and transparency.

This Gum Arabic solution is thickened to closely emulate the consistency of the paint from the tube. It can be diluted with water as needed.
