Natural hair will hold a tremendous amount of paint, because it has microscopic scales along the shaft of the hair. Grey squirrel is the hardest to find and the most expensive. It is more durable than brown squirrel hair, has more snap, and makes an excellent quill or lettering brush.

These Grey Quills suitable for lettering on most surfaces.
