Andrew Mack Series 1310 DC Flatliner Squirrel Hair Sign Painting Brushes are a studio "work horse". They feature pure blue squirrel hair and lay out incredibly long lines.

Natural hair will hold a tremendous amount of paint, because it has microscopic scales along the shaft of the hair. Blue squirrel is the most readily available squirrel hair and comes in long lengths, as well as short lengths. It is generally used for striping brushes and lettering brushes as it is very soft and fine. Blue squirrel hair points as well as kolinsky, but does not have as much snap.
