Winsor & Newton Thickened Linseed Oil

Winsor & Newton Thickened Linseed Oil is an amber-colored, thick, syrupy, partially oxidised oil that promotes the fast drying of oil paints. Thickened Linseed Oil makes oil color "fatter", which reduces the consistency of the paint and increases gloss and transparency.

This oil painting medium is a useful addition to help speed up the drying time of slow drying oil colors. It behaves like stand oil, but dries darker in color.
