Stillman & Birn Nova Trio Series Sketchbooks

Stillman & Birn Sketchbooks give artists the choice of paper weight, shade, and surface best suited to their specific techniques. With both internal and surface sizing, Stillman & Birn papers have exceptional wet strength. Similarly, just as the paper's sizing slows down water absorption, pigment stays on the surface of the sheet. The result is remarkably vibrant color!

Three shades of mixed media toned papers now in a single sketchbook! Stillman & Birn Nova Trio Series offers artists three colors of toned papers that support mixed media techniques. Like all Stillman & Birn papers, these papers are double-sized to allow for a wide range of both dry and media media. The toned shades of these papers are particularly suitable for opaque mediums, such as gouache and water-based markers. Nova Trio papers also provide a exciting background for iridescent watercolors and metallic gel pens!
