Stillman & Birn Nova Series Sketchbooks

Stillman & Birn Sketchbooks give artists the choice of paper weight, shade, and surface best suited to their specific techniques. With both internal and surface sizing, Stillman & Birn papers have exceptional wet strength. Similarly, just as the paper's sizing slows down water absorption, pigment stays on the surface of the sheet. The result is remarkably vibrant color!

Stillman & Birn Nova Series offers artists toned papers that support mixed media techniques. Like all Stillman & Birn papers, these papers are double-sized to allow for a wide range of both dry and media media. The toned shades of these papers are particularly suitable for opaque mediums, such as gouache and water-based markers. Nova papers also provide a exciting background for iridescent watercolors and metallic gel pens!

Available in softcover and wire-bound.

• Softcover (46 Sheets): sewn bindings provide flexibility and durability. Rounded corners prevent frayed edges and give sketchbooks an elegant finish.
• Wire-Bound (50 Sheets): allow the sketchbook to lay and remain flat. Pages are easy to remove to archive or share.
