Jacquard Urea
Jacquard
Jacquard Urea, also known as "organic nitrogen", is a humectant that attracts moisture from the air. Urea is used when applying dye solutions directly to fabric, such as tie dyeing or hand painting. It slows the drying process; therefore it allows more time for the dye to react with the fiber and yields deeper shades.
Urea is often used with Jacquard Sodium Alginate SH, a thickener for screen printing, painting, and direct dye applications.
Choose from available sizes.
Instructions:
Add 1 tablespoon / 15 g Jacquard Urea per 8 fl oz / 0.24 L solution (1/4 cup / 57 g per 1 qt / 0.95 L of dye solution).
Tip: For thicker fabrics, use a thinner consistency of liquid dye solution to ensure dye penetration.
