Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper Hot Press 140 lb Easy-Blocks are made with premium, 100% cotton, acid-free, archival paper. Each sheet has gelatin sizing, which allows the artist to have greater control, producing brilliant and intense color. Sheets are bound on two edges, offering the benefit of both a pad and a block, allowing for easy movement from one sheet to the next.

Crafted in a European mill that has been making fine art papers since 1618, Fluid 100 watercolor papers are made with paper making machines that are able to operate at very slow speeds, creating a sheet that shares the strength and quality characteristics of more expensive mold-made papers. 

This pad has a smooth surface and is wonderful for washes and wet techniques with watercolor and ink.

Each Easy-Block contains 15 sheets of 140 lb (300 gsm) hot press watercolor paper.

Tip: Easy-Blocks allow artists to paint directly on the top sheet. The glue along the two long edges will hold the sheet flat as paint is applied. When the painting is dry, slide a dull knife or letter opener in the open side under the top sheet. The glue will release along one edge and then the painting can be pulled free.
