Arches Oil Pads

Arches has a tradition of creating high-quality papers for over five centuries. Arches Oil Pads feature 100% cotton, 300 gsm (140 lb), mold-made paper from the Arjomari Mills of France.

Arches Oil Pads feature a unique sizing and oil barrier (semi-absorbent surface). They are ready to use without preparation (priming optional), which saves time and there is less risk of damaging the surface in the preparatory stage. These pads are resistant to scratching, prevent greasy rings forming, and protects the fibres from oxidation in contact with the paint. The paint sits on the surface for an excellent rendering of the colors and faster drying times.

These cold press oil pads are glued on one edge allowing you to tear out pages as you go.
