Masterpiece Classic Primed Cotton Stretched Canvases

Masterpiece Classic Primed Cotton Stretched Canvases feature 7 oz canvas that is stretched using a MasterWrap™ back-stapled method with folded corners. This stretching process uses pneumatically controlled machines that yield drum-tight tension. These stretched canvases use solid wood stretcher bars (no finger joints) made from sustainable forests of the Pacific Northwest.

Masterpiece Classic Primed Cotton Stretched Canvases are pre-primed with premium grade titanium dioxide white pigment, renowned for its exceptional performance in acrylic priming. Its enduring whiteness is coupled with remarkable flexibility that persists over time. In contrast to other pigments such as zinc dioxide, titanium dioxide maintains its resilience, preventing brittleness as it ages. This quality ensures that artworks retain their integrity and will stand the test of time.

With a medium textured surface, these stretched canvases are great for use with oil and acrylic paints.
