R&F Encaustics are handmade of the highest quality base ingredients of pigment and medium. Each one is carefully formulated and milled to prevent them from becoming muddy. All colors available in 104 ml cakes.
Titanium White and Ivory Black are also available in 333 ml cakes.
R&F works to have individual characteristics of each pigment come through. The formulation and milling of each pigment is tailored to its particular trait. Cadmium is very smooth, while some of the earth and cobalt colors are slightly gritty to prevent over-grinding or loss of brilliance and clarity.
