Yasutomo Flat Wash Hake Brushes

Yasutomo Flat Wash Hake Brushes are versatile, natural bristle brushes that are excellent for thin media. Hake brushes are also useful for laying in large areas of water and color evenly, wetting surfaces, and for absorbing excess media. 

These brushes have very wide, flat bristles, good for watercolor, oil, and encaustics, and particularly well-suited for ceramic art.

They feature soft sheep hair bristles protected by metal ferrules and flat, smooth wooden handles. Brush tips come to a tapered edge when wet.

Brush hair length is approximately 1 3/8" long.
