Sepp Leaf Mica Powders

Sepp Leaf Mica Powders are ultrafine particles coated with titanium dioxide and/or iron oxide. Mica powders can be mixed into varnishes, shellacs, acrylics for painting and glazing, kneaded into clays, or dusted onto an adhesive coated surface (a technique sometimes known as "flash gilding").

The final effect of these powders can be altered by varying the color of the surface underneath. The density of coverage depends on the amount of powder used.

Mica powders withstand firing temperatures up to 1,652°F (900°C) and are recommended for interior use only.
