Richeson Masonite Boards

Richeson Masonite Boards are untempered hardboard panels made of compressed wood fibers. Professional artists and art students use it as a backing board or for taping and stretching watercolor paper.

If sanded, a moderate mechanical bond can help adhere gesso for painting, however, masonite is not the most archival support for direct painting applications.

Measures 1/8" thick, medium-density. Choose from available sizes.
