Princeton's 6250 series is the short-handled version of the Umbria brush. The synthetic hair on this brush is stiffer than most taklon brushes but not as coarse and irregular as natural bristle. The hair is precise and straight for excellent shape retention and responsive feel. The handle has a velvet touch finish. The Umbria is well suited for many media: oil, acrylic, gouache, and casein, to name a few, and will retain precise control even when used with a heavy body color.
