Unprimed Belgian Linen from Libeco is directly from the mill. Our selection is approximately a 12 oz weight, with a tightly woven, medium-grained surface. We have stocked the same belgian linen for many years and have never seen imperfections.

Linen is a go-to base fabric for artist canvas. The Great Masters such as Monet, Van Gogh, Bruegel, and Magritte knew this, but many modern-day artists such as Warhol, Pollock, and Dali also choose linen as the canvas for their works. The hollow flax fiber absorbs paints very well and provides a beautiful depth of color. 100% woven flax and ecru in color.
