Gamblin Galkyd Gel Medium

Gamblin Galkyd Gel Medium is Gamblin's fastest drying gel. It was created for artists that love the body of oil colors, but want a quick dry time. Galkyd Gel is a thick gel that speeds up the dry time of colors, increases transparency and gloss, helps create impasto texture, and doesn’t become sticky. Layers of oil paint with Galkyd Gel are typically touch-dry in 24-48 hours.

Galkyd Gel is useful in all stages of painting. It is ideal for impasto and painters who want textured paint and glaze layers. Galkyd Gel is formulated with Gamsol and can be used in higher proportions of oil color for glazing techniques.

This medium is made with USA-grown soybean oil.
