Flashe Vinyl Paints
Flashe
Flashe Vinyl Paints, distributed since 1955 by LeFranc & Bourgeois, are one of the first modern painting materials to give artists other means outside of traditional oil painting. Delivering total light absorption, Flashe reflects the same color at every angle and has the ability to cover five times the surface area of acrylic paint. It is revered by artists for its optical characteristics, which allow the effects of old tempera paints and primitive painting grounds to be reproduced.
Flashe can be used on almost any surface for a consistent, ultra-matte, velvety, and opaque finish. It can be applied to almost any non-oily support without priming, including glass and plastic. Made with high quality, single pigments wherever possible, Flashe is designed for mixing. Flashe vinyl emulsion colors can dilute in water, and become indelible when dry. They can be applied with brushes or sponges for a stroke-free finish.
Flashe is a multi-purpose product with many uses including preparing grounds for oil or acrylic paints, creating canvas paintings, theatre sets, sign painting and advertisements, as well as thumbnail sketches.
Available in a wide range of colors in 125, 400, & 750 ml glass containers.
