Montana PRIMER Sprays are the perfect tool for the job when you want to create a neutral surface to apply further coatings. PRIMER Sprays assist in paint adhesion, maximize coverage and intensity of coatings, seal porous surfaces, and protect your work from the elements.
Montana Plastic PRIMER Spray is a transparent white colored, semi-gloss coating, which achieves a neutral color base for paint application. It can be applied to hard plastics such as polyurethane (PUR), polystyrene (PS), polyamide (PA), polypropylene rubber, modified (EPDM), acrylic butadiene styrene plastics (ABS), glass-fibre reinforced plastics (GFK), and hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Tip: Ensure all surfaces are completely clean and free of dust, oils, and rust prior to use. Apply primer in several thin layers, spraying before the previous coat is fully dry, allowing 1-2 minutes between each pass. Further coats might require a drying time of 24 hours or more depending on ambient temperature and humidity. Always test spray on a non-visible area to check compatibility of paint.

Note: This is considered a hazardous item and can only be shipped via ground service within the 48 contiguous states. To prevent spraying during shipping, cans are packaged with a black plastic safety washer under the nozzle. This washer must be removed before the cans will spray.
