Enkaustikos Hot Cakes

Hot Cakes are ready-to-use encaustic wax paints inside convenient metal tins. The encaustic colors are made from artist quality pigment, damar resin and United States Pharmaceutical Grade (USP) refined natural beeswax. The metal tins are designed to be used directly on a heated palette and are completely reusable. Available in 45 ml containers.

After about 20 minutes at 150-175 degrees, the paint will be melted and ready to apply. When finished, a lid will keep your encaustic color fresh and dust-free until your next session.
