Great for beginner brush calligraphy, hand lettering and illustration!
This post has been adapted and originally appeared on the Tombow USA Blog. For this blog we took our regular Fudenosuke pens for a spin. BUT we have two Tombow Fudenosuke prize packs just waiting to be scooped up. Stay tuned for details on how to enter our Tombow Neon New Year Giveaway!
We’re ringing in the new year with neon! This year we’re extra excited about the newest Neon Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pens. These brush pens feature a flexible brush tip allowing easy transition from thick to thin lines by changing pen pressure. Try them out for yourself!
What you’ll need:
Take your sketchbook and use a pencil to write out your favorite quote, mantra, or the alphabet. Practice your calligraphy, faux calligraphy, or create your own style of hand lettering!
Once you’ve finished your outlines, start coloring in your letters using the Fudenosuke Brush Pens. Put multiple colors in one letter by gently blending the colors together. After color has been added to each letter, take your black Tombow Dual Brush Pen and create a thick outline for each letter.
Finish by filling in all of the blank space with your Dual Brush Pen until the colors pop! Interested in learning more lettering styles using Fudenosuke Neon Brush Pens? Click here!
