Sennelier began in Paris in 1887 just opposite the Louvre in what was then the world's epicenter for the arts, the Left Bank or sur la Rive Gauche. Rive Gauche Oils dry twice as fast as classic oils while retaining the essential characteristics. Safflower oil, instead of linseed oil is used in the creation of these paints for a lower level of yellowing, and it's excellent compatibility with pigments. Cadmium-free with high performing substitutes and a full line of luxurious, balanced colors.
